Feed the Child is a STEM

learning experience

aimed at reducing childhood

hunger and poor nutrition.

Feed the Child is NOT a gardening program.


It is a 21st century farming method NASA will use

to grow fresh produce in space

to feed astronauts on long missions.


Each week, in a 6-square foot area, students can grow enough food to provide up to 120 families with

fresh, nutrient-dense greens.


Schools Benefit


The program provides hands-on experiential learning in STEM topics.


Schools can earn several thousand dollars every school year, or gift hundreds of pounds of food to hungry families.

Students learn the importance of eating green vegetables.


Kids are more likely to be excited about eating the food they've grown.


They learn how to prepare healthful snacks and simple meals.

Start up cost is minimal.

Your school likely already has most of the supplies you will need.

Staff time involvement is about 3 hours total per week.
